Why is this taking so long?

A fellow I know happened to mention that he just had a little Moh’s surgery on his back.  “They told me they got it all, but I will need careful follow up.”  Well, the excavation costs ~ $2000 plus the facility and other ancillary fees.  So when it is all done you are talking about $3000 not including the follow up care.   How many people are taking — and have been for many years — hydrochlorothiazide for blood pressure control?  The fellow mentioned is but one of them, but there are millions.  And it is without informed consent re skin cancer risks.  There is a major risk here.  A common medical intervention, a “standard of care”, is dangerous and causes a complication that is expensive to treat.
