A study announced to be published in October 2018 shows that hepatitis B vaccine induces a delayed injury when given to neonatal mice. What does that mean, you say? Well, first, far more obscure findings have been used to delay or prevent approval of many pharmaceuticals. This finding, taken on its face, should basically cause the FDA to remove hepatitis B vaccines from the market until this is sorted out. It violates the usual Phase 1 safety and efficacy standards applied to drugs at the least. Yet it is given to every child whose parents comply with the vaccine carousel. Do parents even know that the 3 shot series is effective for only 16% of those 18 years of age or over? Is your child getting tatoos or sharing IV needles before the age of 18 in YOUR community? Someday we may get to ask the Great Oz that question.
